MIRACLE CITY

Armenia was founded on October 14, 1889 by Jesús María Ocampo Toro, Alejandro and Jesús María Suárez. It receives its name since it was rebuilt after n the earthquake, and for the existence of an estate that bore that name and that existed in that place. It is recognized by the strength and friendliness of its people and was baptized "The City Miracle" by Guillermo León Valencia for its great urban growth and development in a short time.

MUSEO QUIMBAYA

Armenia has one of the most beautiful museums in Colombia, a tribute to the ancient inhabitants of the region, who created a universal art in both goldsmithery and ceramics. PARQUE DE LA VIDA

Between 7 and 8 acres of lots of green, waterfalls that reach a beautiful lake. It is the largest natural space within the city of Armenia, where you can breathe fresh air, walk, exercise early without any danger and enjoy the cultural landscape Cafetero, through its guaduales and trails. The Park has a trail of 2 kilometers of route between the beautiful guaduales of the Quindío and a natural ravine. A lake that extends in the middle of the park in waterfalls, inhabited by fish, ducks and geese adorns the space and is located with a stage in which you can enjoy all artistic and cultural expressions with grandstand for the public.

ESTADIO CENTENARIO

The Estadio Centenario is a multi-purpose stadium built in 1988 in Armenia, Colombia. It is currently used mainly for football matches and is the home stadium of Deportes Quindío. The capacity is 21,500.

LA LOCOMOTORA

Located on Alfredo Vásquez Cobo Street, at the end of Avenida Bolivar, at 40 North Street. It is a locomotive restored, placed on rails, that seems to be in movement, ready to cross the avenue January 19. This is the second locomotive that arrived at the station of the railroad of Armenia, declared heritage of the Quindío.
