CORDOBA

Córdoba is a municipality in the department of Quindío, Colombia. It was founded in 1912, being declared a municipality in 1967. Its main economic activities are agriculture and handicrafts. It is located 27 km from Armenia.

Although the town was founded in 1912, by the year 1925 there were no more than 40 houses in Cordoba. They are recognized as founders of this municipality to Jesus and Miguel Jaramillo, Manuel Bermudez, Joaquin Buitrago, Paulino and Julio García (coming from Antioquia)
